Easy-to-use InAsSb detector module with built-in preamp

uvLink One Wireless Radiometer
The sglux uvLink One wireless radiometer consists of a wireless cosine-corrected UV SiC sensor and a receiver unit that shows the current irradiance and dose measurement values. The unit communicate via low-power 2.4 GHz. The uvLink One is used when sensor wiring would be difficult or is impossible. Infrared Imaging Arrays and Application Sets - Low-Cost, High-Volume Our Application Sets are designed to make it easier for a customer to learn how to use our thermopile imaging arrays and to learn what the arrays can do. The Application Set consists of the customer’s array of choice, a communication module with a UDP (Ethernet) output, camera body, table top tripod, signal and power cables, and ArraySoft graphical user interface software. The communication module takes the digital output from the array and converts it to UDP format, so the array can work with a Windows-based computer. The ArraySoft takes the signal from the communication module and presents it on the computer screen and allows you to see the image generated by the array. ArraySoft allows you to control how that image looks, you can set high and or low temperature filters, you can set high and/or low alarms, you can take a snapshot of the array image, you can record videos, and much more. Paper 13385-27 - Room-temperature, continuous-wave, single transverse-mode operation of distributed-feedback and Fabry-Perot interband cascade lasers
Alpes demonstrates state-of-the-art performance of distributed-feedback (DFB) and Fabry-Perot (FP) interband cascade lasers (ICLs) for room-temperature, continuous-wave, single transverse-mode operation at 3.35 µm-emission for sensing, broadband, and high-power applications. To achieve single transverse-mode operation, while circumventing the drawbacks of prior art designs discussed in the literature, Alpes employs best-in-class, etching techniques optimized for antimonides (Sb) to obtain vertical sidewall geometries and etch-depth precision for narrow waveguides. Alpes employs a novel design with a modified vertical epitaxial architecture; an asymmetric separate confinement layer (SCL) configuration where the upper SCL is significantly thinner than the lower SCL, allowing for wider waveguides while maintaining fundamental-mode operation. Paper 13310-30 Quantum Cascade lasers in 2025: sensing applications, new methods and latest developments (Invited Paper)
We recap the history and evolution of Quantum Cascade Lasers, from their discovery 30 years ago to current applications. On the one hand the workhorse DFB chip has seen dramatic improvements in power consumption which has allowed integration of CW devices in standardized housing. This has allowed multiple operation modes to be used. As each method comes with tradeoffs in terms of peak power, tuning range and tuning speed, we will discuss how to select the ideal method depending on the use case. On the other hand, we will also describe how different modern QCL products can be used to address some of the harmful trade-offs required by simple DFB devices. Thermopile Sensors for Non-Contact Temperature Measurements and Gas Detection
We offer a wide range of thermopile sensors for non-contact temperature measurements and gas detection from Heimann Sensors. Thermopiles consist of many thermocouples that are usually connected in series. They generate a small electric voltage when exposed to infrared (IR) radiation or heat. Besides single element sensors in various packages from SMD to small TO-46 and TO-39, we also produce sensors with two or four elements for gas concentration measurements. All TO-packaged sensors can be equipped with a lens to reduce the field of view (FOV) to measure from larger distances or to provide a smaller measurement spot for more accurate temperature detection. Universal Photon Source (UPS) Driver 2.0 is now available
The new UPS Driver 2.0 is the second generation universal photon source driver and step (clock pulse) signal generator. It is a flexible, low cost, configurable, drive circuit for a wide range of photonics devices. The UPS Driver can produce either pulsed output voltages as well as continuous wave signals, which makes it suitable for driving thermal sources, LEDs and QCLs. Hybrid UV Sensors - TOCONs
A TOCON is a UV photodetector with integrated amplifier converting UV radiation into a voltage. The TOCON can be directly connected to a controller, a voltmeter or any other data analyzing device with voltage input. Modern electronic components and a hermetically sealed metal housing with UV glass window eliminate noise caused by parasitic paths inside the package and EMI. A TOCON is a perfect solution for industrial UV sensing application starting from flame or fire detection at pW/cm2 level up to UV curing lamp control at W/cm2 level. This thirteen orders of magnitude measurement range is covered by ten different TOCONs that differ by their sensitivity.
