Bullseye® Apodizing Filters
Bullseye® Apodizing filters radially modify beam distribution in optical systems. Standard Gaussian or customized filters inserted in line with a light source reduce undesirable intensity variations. Configurations include both dark-in-the-center, typically used to reduce low frequency variations or to create top-hat wave fronts, and clear-in-the-center functions, typically used to reduce high frequency variations outside of the main beam profile. Key Filter Benefits: • Density gradients can be customized to suit any application (transmission functions also available). • Transmittance & optical density are continuously varying. • Can be applied to different substrate types. • Used in broadband applications. • A wide range of materials can be used to tune the reflection and absorption. • The coating can be applied to substrate size from a few millimeters to over 6”. • Environmentally durable. • Prototype to production volumes. We also offer custom Linear Apodizing filters, either dark-to-clear or clear-to-dark. Other services: Thin-film coatings, Diamond Turning, Photolithography Patterns & Optical Fabrication. Custom Prototypes to Volume Production ISO 9001:2015 Registered, ITAR Certified & Cyber Security Compliant Contact us: sales@reynardcorp.com | reynardcorp.com | (949) 366-8866

Circular Variable ND Filters
Circular Variable Neutral Density (CVND) filters from Reynard Corporation offer fully customizable optical density gradient function, transmission gradient function, substrate type, coating materials and size. The filters may be used in high-quality optical systems at UV to IR wavelengths to change the intensity of light from 100% to less than 0.1%. They are intended for narrowband applications, such as lasers, and wideband applications, such as the white light spectrum. Gradient function can be supplied from 45° to 360° of rotation. The substrates range in diameter from 1 to 8 inches. We also offer Linear Variable Neutral Density filters. Other in-house services: Thin-film coatings, Diamond Turning, Photolithography Patterns & Optical Fabrication. Single Point Diamond Turning & Flycutting
Reynard Corporation produces and coats reverse axicons with 360° windows and has single point diamond turning (SPDT) capabilities to produce 6mm to 250mm diameter high-quality precision optical components for aerospace and defense, commercial and industrial, and medical applications. Our Nanoforms, Ultra Precision Machining Systems by Precitech are used for the diamond turning multi-stage process to achieve sub-nanometer level surface finishes and sub-micrometer form accuracies. We have diamond-turning capabilities with a focus on IR, exotic, and III-V crystal materials. Aspheric, spherical, cylindrical, and freeform elements are designed, manufactured, coated, and tested in-house. Other services: Thin-film Coatings, Photolithography Patterns, Optical Fabrication, and Environmental Testing. Custom Prototypes to Volume Production ISO 9001:2015 Registered, ITAR Certified & Cyber Security Compliant

Patterned Optics
Reynard Corporation offers custom photolithography services in-house to create detailed patterned optics. Photolithography is a technique that uses light to produce small patterns over a substrate to protect selected areas of it during the etching or deposition process. Our contact exposing technique can achieve geometry as small as 5 microns on substrates up to 18” in diameter utilizing a variety of thin film coating materials. Metallic or dielectric materials are selected based on the application’s transparent, reflective, absorption and/or conductive opto-electrical requirements. In addition, patterns can be applied to most substrate materials, including plastic sheeting. Applications include alignment test patterns, EMI grids, targets, reticles, encoder disks, scope crosshairs, multi-spectral detector filters and more! Key capabilities: • Industry proven contact photolithography processes. • 5µm and above geometry resolution. • Multiple patterns stacking, alignment tolerance 25µm and above. • Patterned optical coating thickness up to 7µm. • Patterned photoresists thickness up to 100µm. • Substrates as large as 18” in diameter. By customizing your pattern and thin-film coating needs, Reynard can realize the ideal optic for your application. All manufacturing is done in-house for improved quality, ease of communication and innovative customization. Other in-house services: Thin-film coatings, Diamond Turning, Photolithography Patterns & Optical Fabrication.
